I collect information necessary to provide your acupuncture treatment, including:

• Provide your acupuncture treatment

• Maintain your health records

• Contact you about appointments

Data security

Your records are stored securely on a password-protected system used exclusively for clinical purposes. I am the only person with access to your information and would only share it with other healthcare professionals with your explicit consent, except where required by law.

You have the right to:

• See what personal information I hold about you

• Request corrections to any errors

• Ask for your information to be deleted (subject to professional retention requirements)

• Withdraw consent for communications at any time
   

Record retention

As a member of the British Acupuncture Council, I am required to retain your clinical records for 8 years after your last appointment. You may request deletion after this period if you wish.
